AIAA at UH Mānoa members welcoming students at a campus event

Student-led · Member-powered

Meet the people moving our mission forward.

We are students, builders, researchers, and advocates creating a home for aerospace at UH Mānoa.

Our leadership

Guided by students. Built for everyone.

Our officers organize the projects, conversations, and opportunities that bring the chapter together—but our direction is shaped by every member who shows up with curiosity and a willingness to contribute. Aerospace is multidisciplinary by nature, and so are we.

A message from our chair

Aerospace has a place for everyone.

Kenoi Salvador

Chair, AIAA at UH Mānoa

I hope not only to grow the presence of AIAA to the university and its students but for the local public because aerospace has a place for everyone. We hope to inspire the next generation of students and to lay the building blocks for their futures for Aerospace in Hawaii.

Leadership through the years

Our chairs

Honoring the student leaders who have helped shape, grow, and carry the chapter forward.

How we lead

One chapter, shared momentum.

01

Explore together

We welcome students across majors and experience levels, because the strongest aerospace teams need many perspectives.

02

Learn by doing

We create room for hands-on projects, technical conversations, mentorship, and leadership experience.

03

Build for Hawaiʻi

We connect campus talent with Hawaiʻi's growing aerospace community and help make local pathways visible.

Add your perspective

There is room on this team for you.
