Sato-kun brings aerospace down to Earth.
Sato-kun is the cheerful character of a small satellite being developed at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. His bright red aloha shirt reflects the natural beauty and welcoming spirit of Oʻahu, and he is always ready to share a shaka as a greeting, farewell, or sign of gratitude.
His dream is to travel to space with all his friends—an optimistic mission that captures our chapter’s belief that aerospace has a place for everyone.
